And now, on Saturday, June 16th from 11am to 2pm, you can explore Depot Town and sample several strawberry-licious creations courtesy of several businesses in the Ypsilanti community as part of the Depot Town Strawberry Showcase.

With the 2012 Olympics just around the corner, Eastern Michigan University is proud to be sending swimmers to the 2012 Olympic Swimming and Diving Trials at the end of June and a former EMU runner will be competing in London for his home country. Briana Emig, a junior freestyle distance swimmer, will swim the 400 IM, 400 freestyle and 800 free at the Swimming and Diving Trials which will be held in Omaha, Neb.

Eastern Michigan University’s Board of Regents adopted a 2012-13 budget June 19 that includes a general fund operating budget of $290.6 million, an auxiliary activities operating budget of $42.1 million and a capital budget of $21.7 million. The board also received a three year capital plan.
